I forgot to mention that on Thursday we went over the Mississippi River, and then again on Friday

Mileage today was 594,6.  Starting odometer reading was 2752.
We left before 8, thinking we would get an early start and make it to near Glacier Park.  It fell apart about 10 miles later as we ran into a construction zone and spent the next 1 1/2 hours travel at 15 to 20 mph.  So we stopped for breakfast.
After that we actually did pretty well,  We got behind a local and really started getting some speed.  After he left we tried to keep up the speed.  When we stopped for gas, we spoke to the attendant and he said ten miles outside of the towns you could do 100.  So while we didn't really do that we did keep up speed to make mileage.  Even had a local tailing us for quite a while participating in our pack passing.
Before really all the speed stuff we drove through Little Missouri Grasslands National Park.  We stopped as we were leaving to admire the view and take a few pictures.  JT claims he is getting blackmail pictures.

The route was ND23-US85-MT68-MT16-US2-MT89 into Glacier National Park.  Amazing us all that we got this far after the start we had.

After driving past fields for a 1/2 hour you come to a small town of 40 or 50 people and the another 1/2 hour of nothing.  Makes you realize how big the country really is.

And we are staying in a hostel tonight, believe it or not.
