Just for the record, Bob was the top bunk.
Today was 481.7 miles. We did US2, then ND 83, and ND 23 into Newtown and here we are at the 4 Bears Casino. Route 2 for the most part was 4 lanes, through some small towns.  Miles and miles of corn, hay, wheat, soy beans, and a few sun flowers.
US 2 reminded me of the commercial about eye sight how far you can see a candle.  look in front of you and the road goes for miles.  Look back and the road goes for miles.  ND 83 had some hills, and then ND 23 was through oil discovery fields.  A few wells, some drilling, some buring gas, and an oil train.
By the way when you compare my mileage number to the odometer reading I give and say then don't add up, realize that there is some local driving for gas, breakfast, etc before or after the open road.
It was a good day.  Love blasting my CD's as we are rolling along.
