Good bye Oregon, hello California and the redwoods. Spent a good part of the day looking at trees....big trees....lots of big trees!  Then we continued on 101 and then onto the famous Route 1 along the coast.  Winding, twisty exciting road with lots of ocean views. Many 2nd gear corners. Because it is so twisty there are no passing zones, however slower moving traffic moves over to the side of the road to let other vehicles by. Very civilized indeed. We made it to Fort Bragg and stopped for gas and to decide whether we wanted to go further. We decided not to go further and had a hell of a time finding accommodations. In fact we are in three separate places tonite.
Tomorrow San Francisco and further south. It is good that we will be going thru SF on Sunday afternoon.
