Incredible day.  We first visited the Hoh Rain Forest and saw some fabulous trees...200+ feet high and 400+ years old. Being among living things that old is, in many respects a spiritual event. Quite an experience. Then on to the beaches along the peninsula.  Untouched and pristine as nature intended. The weather today was ideal....an additional bonus.
So we now leave the Olympic peninsula and head into Oregon. Looking back on the last two days it is easy to understand the profound respect the natives had for this land.
