Yes, we made it to Kansas.  Ulysses to be exact.  Don't expect to find restaurants open in Ulysses after 2 pm on Sunday. We got here at 6!  We took route 160 to get to Ulysses. Oh, and Ulysses is in Grant county.  There is nothing on the route. We barely made it to a gas station. One of the cars showed 40 miles remaining.
One of us was stopped by an officer of the law for doing a dangerous pass of a combine coming the other way. The officer then admitted that he does the same thing himself when driving his daughter's dodge charger.  No ticket was issued.
So here we are, finishing the bottle of scotch and wondering what and where we might have dinner tonite.  Carthage Missouri tomorrow.  Oh boy!
